About this device

The Valve Index is a cutting-edge PC-powered VR headset developed by Valve, released on April 30, 2019. It is renowned for its high-quality visual and auditory experience. 

The Index features two LCD displays with a resolution of 1440x1600 per eye and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. It offers a horizontal field of view of 108° and a vertical field of view of 104°. The headset is equipped with dual-element canted Fresnel lenses and has an IPD range of 58-70 mm, hardware adjustable. 

It also includes off-ear stereo speakers and a front USB port for connectivity. 

The Valve Index is designed with comfort and immersion in mind, featuring a plastic and foam facial interface and a hard retractable padded strap with detachable speakers. More info on the manufacturer's website.
