The Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences was established in 2002. It grew out of the previously existing Department of Anatomy, Physiological Sciences and Radiology, which had been established in 1981. The department allows students to participate in diverse research projects with a direct clinical correlation to veterinary and/or human medicine.
