This collection contains photographs of faculty, staff, and donors affiliated with the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation. It also includes annual reports, brochures, and plans of property that was donated to the North Carolina State University Foundation. Materials range in date from circa 1983 to circa 2000.

Created in 1978 to attract funding for the College of Veterinary Medicine's teaching, learning, research and extension objectives, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation (NCVMF) operates exclusively for educational and scientific purposes. By providing financial assistance that helps promote educational activities and maintain a prominent faculty, the Foundation encourages diverse research and facilitates cooperative activities with other disciplines and institutions.

Biographical/historical note

Created in 1978 to attract funding for the College of Veterinary Medicine's teaching, learning, research and extension objectives, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation (NCVMF) operates exclusively for educational and scientific purposes. By providing financial assistance that helps promote educational activities and maintain a prominent faculty, the Foundation encourages diverse research and facilitates cooperative activities with other disciplines and institutions.

All NCVMF activities are overseen by a volunteer board of directors representing professional, business and civic leaders from communities across the state.

This collection contains photographs of faculty, staff, and donors affiliated with the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation. It also includes annual reports, brochures, and plans of property that was donated to the North Carolina State University Foundation. Materials range in date from circa 1983 to circa 2000.
