The Bioinformatics Research Center explores methods of computing, simplifying, and visualizing large data sets for the benefit of research in disciplines such as genomics and genetics. The Center uses computer science and statistics to improve quantitative methods of analyzing big data, chiefly in the field of Biology. The BRC was founded in 2000 and continues to provide useful expertise as data sets grow larger and larger.
