The records of the North Carolina State University Mission Review Committee contain meeting minutes, news releases, reports and speeches, and a ten year mission plan. Materials range in dates from 1990 to 1991.

The North Carolina State University Mission Review Committee was established in 1990 under the leadership of Chancellor Larry K. Monteith. The University of North Carolina Board of Governors, which has the statutory authority to establish the mission of the University of North Carolina constituent institutions, asked each campus to review its mission and to propose revisions as necessary. The Mission Review Committee consisted of faculty, staff, students, faculty senate members and North Carolina State University Board of Trustees. This committee appears to have been dissolved sometime after 1991.

Biographical/historical note

The North Carolina State University Mission Review Committee was established in 1990 under the leadership of Chancellor Larry K. Monteith.
