A small number of personal materials, including examinations and class notes from courses he completed at North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts, are also included. Lloyd Hurst Swindell (1890 - 1985) was a Raleigh farmer. He received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Textile Industry from North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts in 1911.
