This collection contains newspaper materials from “Al-Rabitah.” Founded on January 1, 1929, the articles in this collection span from Volume 1 to Volume 5, which was published in 1934. “Al-Rabitah” served as a medium of communication for the Palestinian and Arab diaspora in Brazil. It was founded to promote cultural identity, provide news from Palestine and surrounding areas, and unify the Arab-American community in South America. It frequently covered issues related to Arab nationalism, the Palestinian cause, and the social activities of the Brazilian-Arab community.
"Al-Rabitah" translates to the "The Bond" in English الرابطة.
This collection contains “Al-Rabitah” newspaper articles from 1929-1934, including volumes 1 through 5.
