This collection contains several volumes of the “Az-Zawba’a” newspaper. Founded on August 10, 1940, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the articles in this collection includes Volumes 1 through 6, which were published between the years 1940 and 1947.
“Az-Zawba’a”, meaning cyclone or storm, was a political newspaper founded by Antoun Saadeh, leader of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP). It served to spread SSNP ideology among the Syrian and Lebanese communities in North and South America.
This collection contains “Az-Zawba’a” newspaper articles from 1940-1947, including volumes 1 through 6, and issues 1 through 94.
