This Collection contains a journal that describes a woman's trips to Switzerland in 1912 and 1921.
This travel journal was compiled by an English woman traveler in the early 20th century who took trips to Switzerland in 1912 and 1921 with her sister and their friends. The group traveled across the country, visiting castles and cathedrals in cities such as Geneva, Lausanne, Bern, and Zermatt, and many natural landmarks, including lakes, valleys, glaciers, and mountains. The journal includes her daily accounts of her travel activities, along with 50 postcards and botanical samples she collected while there.
