The North Carolina State Beekeepers Association Records, 1917-2018 (bulk 1950-2018), contains minutes, agendas, financial reports, correspondence, newsletters, publications, beekeepings manuals, curriculum materials and calendars. Other materials include photographs, videos, and presentation materials relating to beekeeping and honey production. Significant portions of the collection are from the personal and professional papers of John D. Foust, who was elected President of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association in 2003. Materials range from 1917 to 2018, with the bulk of materials from 1950 to 2018.

The North Carolina State Beekeepers Association Records, 1917-2018 (bulk 1950-2018), contains minutes, agendas, financial reports, regional chapter reports, correspondence, newsletters, beekeeping manuals, curriculum materials and calendars. Other materials include photographs, videos, publications, and presentation materials relating to beekeeping and honey production. Significant portions of the collection are from the personal and professional papers of John D. Foust, who was elected President of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association in 2003. Materials range from 1917 to 2018, with the bulk of materials from 1950 to 2018.

Arrangement

This collection is arranged into three series: General Records; Publications; and Photographic and Audiovisual Materials. The folders in each series are primarily arranged alphabetically, with some arrangement that is chronological and by media type as noted in the series descriptions. Original order and folder titles have been maintained when possible.

The General Records series contains administrative papers such as correspondence, minutes, membership lists, workbooks, a cash book, bylaws, conference materials, and various financial and local chapter reports. This series also includes beekeeping education and training materials related to North Carolina State Beekeepers Association (NCSBA) programs such as the Master Beekeeper Program and Beginning Beekeeping courses. The materials range from 1917 to 2018.
