The Kent Lioret Collection of Political Buttons and Pamphlet, circa 1950-1999, contains a pamphlet by the British politician and communist party member Harry Pollitt, a news clipping, and a variety of buttons on political campaigns, the Vietnam War, and other topics. Materials date from the 1950s to the 1990s, although buttons are mainly from the 1960s to the early 1980s.

E. Kent Lioret (1940-) was an instructor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at North Carolina State University. He became Lecturer Emeritus in 2012.
