Doumit Ishak was born in Lebanon in 1964. He moved to the United States in 1985 and began college in Tennessee, but left school to move to Raleigh, North Carolina to be closer to other family members. Doumit worked at Neomonde, a Lebanese restaurant in Raleigh owned by the Saleh family, for about two years before returning to school at North Carolina State University. Members of the Ishak family are participants in the Triangle Lebanese Association.
This collection contains photographs of an Ishak family trip to Lebanon and feature images of the family and the Lebanese landscape.
