Biographical/historical note

This collection contains three oral history interviews conducted in 2021. These oral history interviews were conducted for the Texas Bound project. The Texas Bound project explored, “what made the Syrian/Lebanese immigrant experience in Texas unique?” Using oral histories, local histories, and demographic and health data, to investigate topics such as immigrants’ relationship with the US and Mexico border, race, health, religion, geography, and industry.
