The materials in this collection were collected for use in the Cedars in the Pines documentary and exhibition created by the Khayrallah Program for Lebanese-American Studies.
The oral history recordings included in this collection were mostly collected by Dr. Akram Khater, and most of the recordings are the stories of Lebanese Americans living in North Carolina.
The Cedars in the Pines Collection includes 37 oral history recordings and 4 other recordings of various locations and interviews conducted in Lebanon. The bulk of the recordings were created for use in the Cedars in the Pines exhibition created by the Khayrallah Program. Some of the videos include b-roll footage for the documentary as well.
Materials are arranged alphabetically by interviewee last name.
The donor retains full ownership of any copyright and rights currently controlled. Nonexclusive right to authorize uses of these materials for non-commercial research, scholarly, or other educational purposes are granted to Khayrallah Center pursuant to U.S. Copyright Law. Usage of the materials for these purposes must be fully credited with the source. The user assumes full responsibility for any use of the materials.
