I am an entomologist interested in arthropod systematics, evolution, taxonomy, and other biodiversity studies. My main interests have been flies (Diptera) and beetles (Coleoptera), but I have broad interests in all arthropods. I am the entomologist/diagnostician at the NC State Plant Disease and Insect Clinic where I identify arthropods for others, including clients experiencing pest issues, general interest questions, and organisms for research studies (among other services). I am also an arthropod macro photographer.
