Feature Data Layers obtained September, 2000

The following county-wide feature data layers are available for Cumberland County. The data are in (converted) MapInfo format, State Plane NAD 27/feet from Cumberland County Planning. The data were obtained in Sept. 2000. Time stamps for individual files vary.

Digital Orthophotos

As of 2000, digital orthophoto flights had most recently been done in 1995. The original data (about 31 gb) is not currently available through the Libraries. Data are currently available as 16 MrSID compressed mosaics, at 100' or 200' scale, in compression ratios ranging from about 40:1 to about 100:1. Data are in State Plane NAD 27 feet. Data availability is shown below:

There were tentative plans for a color flight in 2002.
