4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Creativity Studio at the James B. Hunt, Jr. Library
In this workshop, we will learn about the differences between common 3D printing techniques and how to select one that fits your needs. We’ll focus on stereolithography (SLA), a method of 3D printing which hardens liquid resin using light to create solid parts. We will discuss everything from the chemistry of photopolymers to printing and finishing printed parts. You’ll also get some tips and tricks on designing prints for SLA, helpful PreForm print settings, using Form Wash and Form Cure, and removing supports from printed parts.
