About This Workshop

Arcade is a flexible expression language that allows you to work with data in real time in ArcGIS. You can use Arcade to style and label your map, create informative pop-ups, and perform field calculations on your data. This lesson will introduce you to the language, while walking you through techniques for leveraging Arcade expressions in Map Viewer.

Everyone who attends must already have a free ArcGIS Online account, and know your password / test your login prior to attending. If you do not already have an account, learn more and request one at least 3 days prior to the workshop at https://www.lib.ncsu.edu/gis/arcgisonline.

The Geo Collab workshop series is for anyone interested in making digital maps, and learning more about GIS software, tools, and data. We will work together using existing lessons from Esri and other sources to learn about the many applications and techniques for performing geospatial data analysis and visualization.
