About This Workshop

Join us for a workshop with special guest presenter Julia McDonnell, Director of Journals Product at Oxford University Press.

In the evolving landscape of academic publishing, ensuring the trustworthiness of content remains critical. AI technologies are increasingly being used throughout the publication process and present real opportunities to improve both the quality and user experience of publication. However, the integration of AI also raises ethical considerations, such as facilitating unethical activities, algorithmic bias, and transparency concerns.

Attendees will learn about some of the benefits and challenges of AI in journals publishing and gain insights into how we can adapt to these latest developments while preserving the principles of trust and integrity.
