Retro gaming day at the Libraries

Attention, gamers! Grab a controller in the Hill Library Fishbowl Forum on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. for an afternoon of the Libraries’ favorite games including Gris, Centipede, Hellblade, Hades, Night in the Woods, Tampon Run, Papers, Please, and much more.

It’s the Greatest Hits edition of Raiders of the Lost Arcade, an event series that’s part of the Libraries Making Space series. Raiders provides a platform for campus members to critically engage with tropes and stereotypes about gamers and video game characters, and to use video games to promote experiential learning, empathy building, and storytelling. It’s also a lot of community fun.
