I'm reading Good Services by Lou Downe. Downe writes that many of the services we use every day aren't designed to meet our needs, and in fact aren't designed at all! This book recognizes that services have an effect on a user's life and discusses how to design them to be findable, understandable, and usable. These are library goals whether we are serving patrons in-person or remotely.
