Discuss and celebrate new media with CHAT

The CHAT Festival ” an acronym for Collaborations in Humanities, Arts, & Technology ” represents a collaboration among academic and education partners in the Research Triangle of North Carolina. The goals of CHAT include bringing together researchers, educators, students, artists, and professionals to discuss, demonstrate, and celebrate new media in the arts and humanities. The biannual Festival was first hosted in 2010 at the University of North Carolina ” Chapel Hill, reprised in 2012 at Duke University, and in 2014 comes to North Carolina State University.

The 2014 CHAT Festival will be held on Friday, February 28 in the new James B. Hunt Library on NC State's Centennial Campus, itself a stunning example of advanced technologies and collaborative spaces for humanities and media work.
