This is another one of those surprise books that catch your heart and won’t let go. I had no idea when I started reading it that I would discover such a lovely story about compassion. The illustrations are perfectly matched, conveying  the soft colors of the sandy environment, and portraying  the gentle  re-telling of a story about the change of heart of a merchant when he finally sees and feels the world from his camel’s point of view. This is a children’s illustrated book that speaks to people of all ages. I love how children’s books go straight to the heart of the matter.
