Librarians consult and collaborate with NC State faculty and instructors to enhance student success.
Librarians can offer instruction sessions for your courses, including:
- Sessions supporting first-year writing and speaking
- Discipline-specific instruction for advanced courses
- Sessions focused on using special collections, digital media, makerspace technologies, and copyright
The Libraries offers a variety of course resources, including physical and online course reserves, recommended research tools for every course, and a suite of videos and interactive guides to help students learn about library research.
Librarians are available to consult on the design of assignments, to ensure that their requirements fit with library resources. Librarians are also available to provide one-on-one research support for students.
The Libraries offers a wide variety of co-curricular workshops to NCSU students, faculty, and staff. Many of these workshops can also be requested for your class.
