The materials are dated from 1975 to 2000. C. Lee Campbell (1953-1999) earned his Bachelor of Science (1974) and Master of Science (1976) degrees in plant pathology at Colorado State University. After receiving his Ph.D. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1978, Dr. Campbell became an assistant professor of plant pathology at North Carolina State University in 1979. He was promoted to associate professor in 1985 and to professor in 1991. Dr. Campbell was an internationally respected scientist and an important figure in plant pathology. He worked at North Carolina State University from 1979 to 1999.
