The collection also include his kindergarten graduation certificate and honorary degrees that he received from various US Universities. The collection includes a few materials in Italian and Portuguese languages.
Richard M. Felder joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University in 1969. He is currently (2021) Hoechst Celanese Professor Emeritus in the department.
