Contained in this collection are agricultural publications (ca. 1920 - ca. 1960); pamphlets, brochures, and flyers for agricultural equipment and other agricultural information (ca. 1920 - ca. 1960); and correspondence, other papers, and memorabilia of David C. and Edgar W. Worth (1916 - 1990). This collection formerly contained publications, brochures, etc. produced by NC State College/University (1920s – 1980s) but these have been moved to the University Archives. Brothers David Crenshaw and Edgar Wilson Worth graduated from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later NC State University), the former with a B.S. in Agriculture (1927) and M.S. in Animal Husbandry (1930) and the latter with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. David was the owner/operator of Oakhurt Dairy Farm in Wake County, NC, from 1927-1956. He was a prominent member of various dairy organzations in North Carolina. Less

The Henry Eli Kendall papers consist of photographs of Kendall and childhood friends and memorabilia from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (now North Carolina State University), including ribbons, correspondence, news clippings, registration cards, a grade report, and an athletic ticket book. Henry Eli Kendall Jr. (1905-1981) was an engineer, North Carolina state government official, director of the State Employees' Credit Union, and a World War II veteran. The Howard McDonald Ellis drawings and class schedule consist of oversized drawings of building columns and frame walls from Jehu D. Paulson's Elements of Design Class, and a North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (now North Carolina State University) class schedule. Howard McDonald Ellis (1907 - 1993) was an extension specialist in charge of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at North Carolina State University from 1935 to 1969. Ellis received a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (1929) and a bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering (1934) from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering. This collection contains newsclippings collected by Howard Snyder and which concern the 1929 merger of the Pennsylvania State Forest School in Mont Alto, Pa., with the Pennsylvania State College. Some clippings have been mounted on pages separated from a scrapbook. Also contained in the collection is Snyder's red wool jacket from his time at North Carolina State College (now North Carolina State University). On the left breast pocket is an emblem that reads "NCS 30." Howard Aden Snyder graduated from North Carolina State College (now North Carolina State University) in 1930 with a B. S. in Forestry. He was in the first graduating class of the college's new forestry program. During the previous year he was one of approximately 50 students who came to NCC State from the Pennsylvania State Forest School in Mont Alto, Pennsylvania.
