The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Annual Reports subgroup contains academic year and calendar year annual reports for the College, as well as the academic year annual reports for many of the College's committees, departments, and programs. Also included are annual reports of the Randleigh Foundation from 1966-1985. Materials range in date from 1945 to 2016. In 1905, the Board of Trustees first took up the suggestion of creating a dean for agriculture, but only under President Wallace Riddick (in 1917) was the position of dean created. In 1923, following the reorganization of North Carolina State College (later, University), the School (later, College) of Agriculture was created. In 1964, the School of Agriculture became the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences. In 1996, the School became the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, reflecting campus-wide changes in designation from School to College. Less
