Richard E. Nance received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1962 from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University), followed by a Master of Science in 1964. Nance completed his Ph.D. at Purdue in 1968 and soon established himself as a founding leader in the field of computer simulation research. In addition, he taught at Southern Methodist University and Virginia Tech, served as a researcher for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, and participated in a variety of professional activities.
Less
