The Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost is NC State's chief academic officer, supporting faculty and programming that make the university a higher education leader. As executive vice chancellor, the provost is the senior executive responsible for NC State’s day-to-day activities. The provost is responsible for the university’s 10 colleges and 12 critical corollary units.
