Raymond Loewy was a twentieth century French-American industrial designer. Among his designs was the Pennsylvania Railroad S-1 steam locomotive. The lithograph print in this collection is based on a 1937 design of the S-1 locomotive created by Loewy's design firm. The lithograph was printed at the American Atelier in New York City in 1978.
