Materials range in date from 1947 to 1987. The College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PAMS) was established at North Carolina State University in 1960 as the School of Physical Science and Applied Mathematics. In 1977, the unit was renamed the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, becoming "College of" in 1987. In 2013 the College of Physical and Mathematical was superceded by the College of Sciences.
