The North Carolina State University College (previously, School) of Veterinary Medicine was established in 1978. Dr. Terrence Curtin became the first dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. The School of Veterinary Medicine admitted its first class of students in August 1981, dedicated its main facility in April 1983, and graduated its first class of veterinarians in May 1985.
Less
