What are the options for using library computers at D. H. Hill Library for guests?
You are considered a guest if you are in NOT in one of the following categories:
NCSU student, staff or faculty member
NCSU Affiliate with a borrower ID
Student, staff or faculty member at Duke University or a UNC institution.
Guests have access to a limited number of computers in D. H. Hill Library. They are located in the Ground Floor Reading Room near the library entrance. These computers are available for 30 minutes at a time on a first-come, first-served basis. These computers have web browsers and MS Office.
Guests are unable to print from these computers but printing services are available nearby at the FedEx Office across the street from the D. H. Hill Library, at 2712 Hillsborough Street.
Your own laptop: Guests may bring in laptop computers and connect to the campus's Guest Wireless network. The guest wireless provides access to databases and e-journals licensed by NCSU Libraries only to those who can log in with a Unity ID or Library Borrower ID.
Only NCSU students, staff and faculty are able to print to library printers from personal laptops.
