What kind of information is included in the NCCS Data Web?

The NCCS Data Web is a national repository of data on the U.S. nonprofit sector, based primarily on information submitted by the organizations themselves on their tax forms. Users can create reports, do some statistical analyses online, and extract data for downloading in a variety of software formats including dBase, Microsoft Excel, SAS, and SPSS.

There is access to over 140 data files. The majority are based on IRS Forms 990. NCCS Data Web also has data on giving by individuals and data developed from other sources.
