The North Carolina State Univesity Libraries,
in collaboration with the Visual Arts Center (now Gallery
of Art & Design), presented an exhibition of the work of George
Matsumoto, FAIA, April 10-June 28, 1997.
Matsumoto was a founding faculty
member of the School of Design between
1948 and 1961. The exhibition focused on Matsumoto's work during this
period. Items comprising the exhibition came from the George
Matsumoto, FAIA Papers and Drawings housed by the Special
Collections Research Center of the NCSU Libraries.
