About This Exhibit

Featuring a wide range of collections from the Special Collections Research Center, "A Fair to Remember: The History of the North Carolina State Fair" shows the growth of the Fair, from its early days as an educational institution through today. The exhibit considers why we love the fair so much, who the fair is for, and how agricultural education is conducted throughout the state.

The exhibit is curated through the Special Collections Research Center's (SCRC) collaboration with the Masters of Public History program. Public History Graduate Student Karina Burbank curated this exhibit, which highlights SCRC holdings.
