Exhibits Program

Exhibits often showcase special and unique collections held by the Libraries, including documents, photographs and prints.  Some exhibits highlight the distinguished work of NC State researchers, administrators, or students; others may be traveling exhibits that the Libraries makes available in our exhibit spaces.

The Gallery

The 15 museum-quality cases in the Exhibit Gallery in the east wing of the D. H. Hill Jr. Library enable the display of a variety of physical materials, including rare and sensitive ones.  The gallery is a transitional space between the Special Collections Reading Room and the Learning Commons on the first floor of the library.

Digital Exhibits

Digital exhibits may be on view in any of our technology-rich spaces.  The iPearl Immersion Theater in the James B. Hunt Jr. Library features inspiring collections of digital images displayed on a "curved" 7 x 16 foot video display wall, surrounding the viewer with imagery.
