Join us for an exciting virtual event with the Special Collections Research Center—don’t miss an opportunity to hear thought-provoking presentations from two inspiring scholars!
Dr. Sarah Scott, a Professor of Philosophy at Manhattan University, who will delve into the fascinating topic of "The Anti-Vivisection Movement and the Creation of Animal Rights." Kaitlyn Kitchen, an undergraduate student from Appalachian State University. Kaitlyn will present her engaging analysis, "Rolling in the Mud: An Exploration of the Intersections and Tensions between Women’s Liberation, Animal Liberation, and Activist Methods."
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Culture & Animals Foundation for their generous support in establishing the Tom Regan Fellowship and supporting these two scholars.
