Raleigh sound engineer Kelcy Dial (King’s and Neptune’s Parlour) and Chicago sound engineer Matthew Barnhart (Superchunk, Mountain Goats) help shape your live music experience. Their work is often hidden, and sometimes even belittled. Find out what inspires someone to work with live and recorded sound, hear about their diverse backgrounds, and meet some special guest musicians who will help illustrate the singular importance of the sound engineer.
