About This Event
State of Sound Stories from NC State University Libraries invites individuals and groups to share their personal sound stories - their own creative paths that got them involved with sound - to highlight diverse ways forward for those interested in making sound a bigger part of their lives or careers.
Join us on our YouTube channel for a recorded conversation and performance by Natalie King, recorded last Septemeber at The Corner on Centennial Campus. Natalie is an NC State alum, an employee of the venerable NC record label Merge, and, as Toss, a singer/songwriter of great talent. We'll talk about music at NC State and in the Triangle, demystify and mystify ourselves regarding record labels, and listen to some of her beautiful music.
