Produce, Perform, Record: An Introduction to Ableton Live

Take this workshop if you want learn the basics of musical production and performance in Ableton Live. This workshop is ideal for students of all majors who would like to take their musical projects to the next level using modern techniques. This workshop will cover the basic layout and features of Ableton live. We will discus the programs two main interfaces, arrangement and session views. In addition, we will discuss external MIDI and audio device setup. The discussion will then expand to more musical topics, such as MIDI instrumentation, sampling, and the use of digital effects in Ableton.  

Workshop Pre-Requisites

While some musical experience will help, it is not required.
