No tours, sightseeing, or events are allowed in the Hill and Hunt Libraries between the last day of classes and the completion of final exams. Access is limited to NC State students, faculty, and staff, who will need to use their Wolfpack One Cards to enter the Hunt Library security gates.

What is Linux?

A introduction to the Linux operating system you may have heard about but never used. This workshop will cover the history of Linux, Linux today, and it's philosophy. There will also be a live demo of the Linux operating system. Attendees will have a basic understanding of what Linux is and how it can be used.

Workshop Pre-Requisites

Attendees  are expected to have basic computer knowledge with either Mac or Windows environment to better understand the material.
