In collaboration with the Women's Theatre Festival, members of the NC State campus community are invited to participate in the following workshop:

This unique, one-of-a-kind workshop explores a new way to approach an acting career. Instructor Lori Mahl banishes that “starving artist” thing, and happily shares how she how she managed to make a good, full-time living as an actress in NYC for two decades, spanning Broadway, national tours, regional theatre, commercials, and voiceovers. Her goal is to help workshop participants think about
and pursue their own career in the arts in a new and fulfilling way. The workshop is a combination of lectures and small group
exercises, plus time for Q&A.
