Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a secure cloud services platform with millions of users. In his presentation, Brian Beach will discuss how data and the cloud are changing the landscape of research, teaching, and learning. You will also learn about the various services and how to access credits through the AWS Educate program. The talk will be followed by a brief hands-on lab and Q&A session.

Brian Beach is technology leader with more than fifteen years of experience in software development and cloud architecture. He has been with Amazon Web Services since 2014 and currently works a Solutions Architect helping universities move to the cloud. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from NYU Poly and an MBA from Rutgers Business School. He is also the author of Pro PowerShell for Amazon Web Services from Apress.
