In this introductory workshop you will learn how to connect an Arduino to Processing to make data visualizations. Specifically, you'll learn how to connect a sensor to an Arduino to collect real-time data, how to feed those data into Processing, and how to use Processing to create visualizations.

All hardware and software will be provided.

Workshop Pre-Requisites

No prior experience is required. However, a basic understanding of working with Arduino will be helpful, in particular connecting circuits, and editing and uploading programs.

You do not have to have attended the D.H. Hill Makerspace Orientation before attending this workshop. However, you will have to attend an orientation before using the Makerspace outside of the workshop.
