A student views 360 videos of North Carolina parks and recreation destinations, using a VR headset.
Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10:00am to 12:00pm
iPearl Innovation Studio, Hill Library
Explore 360-degree video virtual reality experiences of recreation and leisure destinations from around the state of North Carolina (created by Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management students at NC State). In the Innovation Studio, you'll be able to experience these works in virtual reality headsets and also learn about the behind-the-scenes work that went into creating them (using cameras available for checkout at the Libraries!). This will be a drop-in session and the course instructor, Nathan Williams, will be available to answer questions about the project and how 360-degree video can be integrated into your course or personal project!
This semester's projects will be incorporated into an ongoing exhibit, which can be viewed before and after the event in the Innovation Studio at Hill Library.
