Citizen science is an approach where scientists partner with the public to collectively build new knowledge – whether that’s understanding the microbial contents of your belly button or the outdoor wanderings of your cat.
NC State has a vibrant citizen science community comprised of scientists, science communicators, students, and members of the public, all of whom are passionate about exploring the world and creating opportunities for real scientific discovery.
The NC State: Leading the Pack in Citizen Science exhibit will highlight some of their past and present citizen science projects.
