10:00am to 11:00am
- Visualization Studio at the D. H. Hill Library
Generative artist and creative resident Lucas Swick will guide participants through an immersive exhibition based on data about food and housing insecurity of NC State students. The exhibition will be interactive, allowing viewers to engage with the content while the artist discusses the concepts and algorithms behind the work.
Part of the Libraries' Immersive Scholar program, Swick’s residence is funded through the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. There will be a collection of canned food pantry items at the event to donate to Feed the Pack. Please feel free to bring a canned food item with you to donate. Note: there will be two sessions of this program with the same content; one at 3:00 p.m. and one at 4:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
If you require a disability-related accommodation to participate in this event, please contact Marian Fragola at email@example.com or 919-513-3481 to arrange services. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your access needs.
