Documentary Screening: A Late Style of Fire: Larry Levis, American Poet
Larry Levis has ultimately become one of America’s essential poets, as his work has continued to grow in popularity and influence among a broad range of readers and writers. Featuring an original score by the well-known singer/songwriter Sam Beam of Iron and Wine, A Late Style of Fire celebrates the story of a flawed yet immensely talented writer, capturing the risks and triumphs of a life devoted to making powerfully memorable art. Co-presented by the MFA in Creative Writing and the NCSU Libraries.
